At a meeting on the 18th of March 2013, > 30 people met in Amsterdam and decided to form an active community around nanopublications.

This site will become the focal point of actions, news, templates, sandbox publishing, professional publishing and more activities needed to shape and support the ‘ecosystem around ‘nanopublication’

As a first step, we are looking from people to actively engage in making www.nanopub.org the portal to an Open Community environment to create a vibrant community of public and private partners.

We will put up an increasing number of templates for data types (initially in the life sciences but later also beyond)

We will keep track of the development of new initiative using nanopublications

‘Citizens’ will be able to list their interests and activities and link to thier local activities on nanopublications.

The dinner was sponsored by the Netherlands eScience Centre, the Netherlands Bioinformatics Centre and Euretos

More to come….watch this site!
